Established in 1947, Colorado Rose Red granite quarry has been owned & operated by the Liesveld for 68 years. Having origins in Holland as master stone cutters, the Liesveld family migrated to the United States to continue the three-century tradition.
Situated in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado Rose Red is located just outside of Estes Park, CO. This is where the now 4 generations of Liesvelds have operated from. The current owner Caleb Liesveld works closely with Dan Liesveld, his father and Mike Liesveld, his uncle to carry on the family legacy.
In a time when trades are disappearing rapidly. We work hard to teach our people and ourselves the skills of the stone industry. Quarrying and cutting stone is one of the world’s oldest trades, and we are committed to its knowledge and skill.
