Ours is an old story, but certainly not as old as the products we represent. We started quarrying multicolor slate in India 32 years ago and we have been importing only the finest quality natural stones into North America from all over the world. Stone A.V is a family owned business that started in 1989. We are not weighed down by history or geography and have provided various materials for global projects. To truly discerning US and European importers and distributors, we have been the vendor of choice for more than 15 years. We are big enough but not the biggest importer of stone. However, you will be hard pressed to find a better company to do business with for high quality and unique materials, first rate customer service (yes there is such a thing!), honest representations (this too, does exist), on time deliveries and unique capabilities in material acquisition and logistics. In 2003/2004, Stone AV provided 150,000 sf of Padre Gold sandstone for the San Diego Ballpark project (Petco Park). Since then we have been called upon to provide 200,000 sf of various porphyry for a private residence. We enjoy working with clients who can discern good quality and like promoting the use of natural stone.
