Grupo Minar is a most traditional Brazilian company which works with mining, processing and the export of slate, strategically located in the center of the main slate extraction region of Brazil in the state of Minas Gerais.

The mine started its production in 1974 with the purpose of quarrying slate and widening its horizons it has started processing slate by offering customers quality and punctuality.
We have more than 30 years of experience in quarrying, processing, and exporting high quality slate for billiard to lot of countries as Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, USA, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy ,Sweden, United Kingdom, South Africa, Belarus, Russia, Singapore ,Morocco, India and Australia.

We extract high quality slate from our quarries and we are able to produce slate table for billiard in any size and pattern according to our costumer’s specifications.
