Askim Stenindustri AS. is a family-owned natural stone manufacturer that was established already in 1924 in Askim in Indre Østfold. The company is well positioned at the old E18 at the entrance of Askim when you come from Sweden.
After the last generation a few years ago with the current owners, the company has been in constant expansion and we have 3 consecutive years as one of 234 companies in Norway has been voted the Gaselle Company of Norway's largest business newspaper Dagens Næringsliv. The company is a member of the Stone Industry Association National SIL is trade association for the stone industry in Norway. This is a mark of quality, because there are certain requirements for accountability to become a member.
