Founded in 1965 as Hankuk Hwasung, Hanwha L C introduces new products for daily llife as well as for industries of great national importance. The operation has grown steadily for more than 40 years to become a leading processor of a plastics for construction materials (flooring, door and window frames, artificial marble, engineered stone), automotive parts (glass mat-reinforced thermoplastics, expandable polypropylene, interior materials), finishing materials (Decor sheet) and specialty films. The company is also developing strategic new growth areas such as materials used in electrical, electronics and communications.
Hanwha L C products are widely recognized for excellence. The entire lineup of plastic window and door frames has obtained the KS (Korea Standard) Mark for quality, while the home-use flooring business has ranked first on the Korea Customer Satisfaction Index for the past three years.
Meanwhile, investment is being stepped up for developing substrates for displays, special-purpose films and other materials used to make the essential parts for electronics, information and communications products.
