Fox Marble Holdings PLC is a natural stone extraction company operating in Kosovo and Southeast Europe, with headquarters located in the United Kingdom.
Fox Marble’s six quarries located in Kosovo have access to over 300 million cubic metres of premium quality marble and decorative stone, including Honey Yellow Onyx and White Sivec.
Fox Marble was founded by Christopher Gilbert and Dr Etrur Albani in 2011 to take advantage of the unexploited marble reserves in Kosovo.
Following extensive research the Group acquired rights and mining licences to five quarries at Peja, Rahovec (three separate quarries) and Syrigane covering 488 hectares. The rights and licences in respect of these quarries are held by the Group's Kosovan subsidiaries.
The group listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in August 2012, raising the capital needed to equip and operate its quarries, and construct a processing plant.
Fox Marble is the first AIM listed company to operate in Kosovo and is the only AIM listed dimension stone company.
The Group has since aquired quarrying rights and operating agreements for three further quarries: Rahovec: Drini, Malesheva and Prilep.
