After more than a decade of installing granite and tile, Bujar Rushiti was tired of seeing projects take longer than necessary due to poor quality controls throughout much of the industry. Templates were often wrong, sales people made promises that were impossible to keep, and jobs that should have taken half of a day took two or more days to make sure the job was done right.
In 2010, Bujar set out to build a granite company that would do better. It would have better service, better quality, and better prices. In a small showroom on the south-side, Pristine Granite was born and began offering services to the greater Edmonton area. Clients were impressed with a contractor that was honest and well priced, showed up on time, and took a genuine interest in doing the job right. They received high quality service a very competitive prices and work of the finest quality.
In late 2011, that small showroom was forced to close when the lease was not renewed (Pristine Granite was on a sub-lease). Add to this the difficulty in finding skilled installers that can provide the quality demanded by Bujar and Pristine moved towards sub-contracting for others.
In 2013, after a long process to interview and hire quality stone-workers and the addition of an operations and marketing manager, Pristine Granite is setting the stage for not only a strong return to the residential granite market, but a period of strong growth based on the five promises made to every client. Edmonton and Northern Alberta finally have a choice for real quality and craftsmanship when it comes to granite and tile.
