Felsite Stone is of volcanic origin not glassy, with light tints, in more or less degree quartzous, carbonated stone that can't be confused with tuff. Felsite Stone is denser and heavier than tufa types and is distinguished with its structure, that is why it is often called the volcanic equivalent of granite.
