Kiviveistamo Vientikivi Oy

Vientikivi Oy is the oldest stone work company in Western Finland. Vientikivi Oy was established in 1932 in Pori, where it continued its operations until 1977. In 1982, part of the capital stock was transferred to the chairman of the board of directors, business councellor Risto Ylitalo, and the rest followed in 1984. The share ownership changed during the change of generation. During 1977-1978, Vientikivi Oy moved its operations to the industrial area Torttila in Harjavalta, and in 1992 part of its operations were transferred to the Kiukainen civic centre Panelia. The rest followed in 1999. Vientikivi Oy has a 7 hectare industrial plot with 10,000 m2 facilities. The automated, state of the art hard stone processing machinery represent the top in the Nordic Countries. During these 70 years, Vientikivi Oy has constructed several notable buildings and memorials around Finland. Our staff comprises skilled, reliable professionals with several years of experience. The Vientikivi Group includes the two distinct companies Louhi Kivitasot Oy from Imatra in Southeast Finland, and Scankivi Oy from Rymättylä, in Southwest Finland, which own 80% of the share capital.
