HR Pedras is a quarrier, manufacturer and exporter of the finest Brazilian slate. HR Pedras is located in Papagaio, a district of the 'Slate Province of Minas Gerais' - the world's largest geological reserve of high quality slate and now we have an office representative in Montreal, Quebec. Open quarries, nearly perfect horizontal splitting plane (cleavage) and multiple thickness of the extractable slabs make it possible for us to have lower costs and higher productivity in full compliance with environmental policies.Because the environmental preservation has always been our constant concern the water used in the production is re-used after processes of decantation and filtering.These factors make the slate from HR Pedras competitive all over the world, and our quality fully satisfies our customer.
