Company Description
We deal in the business of marbles and granites since the early 1930s,when Enrico Locati Luciani founded in Carrara a small laboratory for sawing marbles. Later, the activity was developed by his son, Locati Luciani Ugo, who in 1957 invented a new way, much faster, to saw granites.
The society quickly became one of the biggest of that time (1960s), forcing the moving to a bigger place. Was chosen a site in the town of Molicciara, only a few chilometers near Carrara. There the society was led by the brothers Locati Luciani Armando and Enrico until the mid 1990s
Meanwhile, since the 1980s, has began a rennovation in the core business of the society that slowly moved it from a sawing related to a commercial one.
This also lead to the discovery of new markets, such as China and Far East ones.
We still have great partners that helps us in the sawing process, but we decided to focus our efforts in finding high quality stones and bringing them to our clients.
That"s why Armando Locati Luciani founded, together with his son Luca, the "L. L. Marmi e Graniti" society, that intends to continue the strong tradition of the Locati Luciani family to provide the highest quality marbles and granites... all over the World
